In the past couple of weeks, a number of WWE stars have made their returns to WWE programming, whether it be on “Monday Night Raw” or “Smackdown.” Most notably, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan returned to WWE on the Nov. 24 showing of “Raw,” serving as the special guest general manager the night after The Authority was taken out of power.
As December rolls on, these returns will only increase. Following “TLCS,” Brock Lesnar is slated to return to WWE programming on the Dec. 15 showing of “Monday Night Raw,” after an almost three month absence. Six-time world champion Chris Jericho has also been advertised for that show, as he will serve as the special guest authority figure that week. The month will also likely feature full-time returns for two of WWE’s main event stars, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.
Now, according to advertisements on WWE.com, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will appear on the Dec. 22 showing of “Monday Night Raw.” The event will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center. WWE itself has not made any definitive announcement on Hogan’s role for the show, but fans have speculated that he will be there as part of WWE’s ongoing guest general manager storyline.
Editor’s Note
I would guess Hogan will be there to run the show, but I could also see WWE simply using him to promote some of its holiday business.
