During the latest edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Daniel Bryan was not stripped of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, things did not get much better for Bryan, as Stephanie McMahon gave Bryan an ultimatum. If Bryan does not surrender his title at “Payback” this Sunday, then his wife, Brie Bella, will be fired.
While “Monday Night Raw” was on the air, in Pittsburgh, Pa., local advertisements aired for the tapings of “Main Event” and “Smackdown” on June 24. During the advertisement, Bryan was announced to wrestle, teaming with The Shield to take on The Wyatt Family and Randy Orton. However, as always, the card is subject to change.
Though, this is not the first time Daniel Bryan has been advertised to wrestle in the upcoming months. Bryan has also been advertised for a live event in early July at Madison Square Garden. There, he is advertised to face Triple H in a WrestleMania rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The taping of “Smackdown” in the “Steel City” will be the final tapings of WWE programming before the company’s second marquee event in June, “Money in the Bank.” As we previously reported, some within the company expect that Bryan will go against Kane in a Buried Alive match at the event.
Editor’s Note
While it is probably best to take the advertisement with a grain of salt, it certainly makes you think. It definitely seems like there is a very real possibility that Bryan is able to return to action in the month of June.
