As noted, CM Punk recently appeared at Wrigley Field, singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” There, he revealed that he will marry his fiancee, AJ Lee, next month, June. Additionally, Punk spoke about what he has been up to, talking about how he has fired up the Sega Genesis to play “NHL ’94,” winning 18 Stanley Cups.
Today, Sunday, May 18, CM Punk tweeted for the first time since his departure from WWE. Unsurprisingly, it was the NHL that had Punk break his Twitter silence. Just like last year, the Chicago Blackhawks will face the Los Angeles Kings in the Western Conference Final of the NHL playoffs. During their meeting in 2013, CM Punk and Bailey, the lion mascot of the Kings, clashed on Twitter.
Shortly before the start of the first game of the series, Punk broke his Twitter silence, making a bet with the mascot. Below are the tweets between Punk and Bailey:

In the past, Punk has attended many of the Blackhawks’ games in support of his hometown team. Last year, the Blackhawks took down the Boston Bruins to win the Stanley Cup, their second in four years.
Editor’s Note
In my book, the “Best in the World,” is getting even better. The fact that he quit wrestling to spend his free time doing things he enjoys like playing “NHL ’94,” following the Blackhawks and Cubs, and simply embracing the city of Chicago, is smart and fantastic. An underrated part of Punk’s tweets is that he does not refer to the Blackhawks as, “we.” What a human being.
