Backstage Update on Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards

As we previously reported, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards recently debuted in NXT as “The American Pitbulls.”  The two are most known for their work at Ring of Honor, where each of the two are former ROH World Champions.  According to a report by F4WOnline, the two will have an “internship role” with NXT that will run through March of 2014.

The report goes on to state that the word going around is that the two have been model employees so far as they transition into the WWE, and have not caused any issues within the company. It is believed that The American Pitbulls lost to The Ascension in their debut match because WWE wanted to test their reaction to the loss. After the match, everything turned out to be fine.
