Although there have been many reports claiming that Vince McMahon would return before WrestleMania XXX, no such thing has happened yet. F4WOnline recently published the latest report on Vince McMahon’s return to WWE programming, noting that McMahon is expected to be back on television following WrestleMania XXX.
A possible sign of Vince McMahon’s return to WWE programming may have been evident on the March 3 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Stephanie McMahon was once again billed as one of the “Principal Owners of WWE,” and in Triple H and Stephanie’s promo in regards to Daniel Bryan, the two referred to many things as theirs such as the fans and the WWE ring.
In one of WWE’s rare cases of trying to book long-term, there was a planned match of Triple H vs. another WWE superstar representing Vince McMahon for on-screen control of WWE. However, as plans for WrestleMania XXX become clearer, it is evident that these previous plans have been scrapped.
Vince McMahon’s last appearance on WWE programming was at the Tables Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view, which saw McMahon wish luck to both John Cena and Randy Orton, who fought to become the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After Orton won, Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon came out to applaud Randy Orton.
