On April 20, WWE aired the final edition of “Monday Night Raw” prior to its 2015 “Extreme Rules” pay-per-view. Within the “go-home” show, two matches were added to “Extreme Rules.” Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper will face off in a Street Fight. Additionally, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd will put their WWE Tag Team Championship on the line in a match against The New Day.
For the first time in 2015, “Monday Night Raw” went head-to-head with both the NBA and Stanley Cup Playoffs. Despite the stiff competition, viewership for the April 20 “Monday Night Raw” eclipsed four million viewers. According to TVByTheNumbers.com, the April 20 showing of “Monday Night Raw” drew in an average of 4.040 million viewers, up from last week’s figure of 3.665 million for a pre-taped show.

Hour 1: 4.105 million viewers
Hour 2: 4.136 million viewers
Hour 3: 3.873 million viewers
For the night, “Monday Night Raw” was the third highest rated cable program. It obtained a 1.4 rating for adults aged 18 through 49. In terms of ratings, WWE trailed VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” series, in addition to a NBA Playoff game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors.
