The New Day (Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E) ended up moving from Monday Night Raw to SmackDown Live during last month’s superstar shake-up, however, we haven’t yet seen them make their debut on WWE’s blue brand.

The popular trio has been kept off of WWE television since the shake-up, as one of their three members — Kofi Kingston — is injured. But, it does look like the team will be making their return to television soon, and it also looks like they’ll immediately challenge The Usos for the Tag Team Championships.

“I know that Breeze and Fandango’s role was to put The Usos over,” said Dave Meltzer on Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Radio. “Because the feeling is that The Usos and The New Day is the new direction, so The Fashion Police were just there to buy time until Kofi Kingston heals.”

According to Cageside Seats, The New Day will return to action either late this month, or early next month.
