We’re now a week removed from the shocking announcement that Kurt Angle is going to headline this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Orlando, Florida, and the number one question that wrestling fans keep asking is: will our Olympic Hero have one more match in WWE?

On the most recent edition of The Ross Report, which is of course hosted by WWE legend Jim Ross, good ‘ole JR explained why wrestling fans should stop asking if Angle will have another match.

“I hope that the fans will celebrate the announcement that Kurt’s going into the WWE Hall of Fame – I can’t see [WWE] inducting anyone bigger this year. Maybe we’ll be surprised. We should focus on that, and not on the endless questioning: is Kurt gonna wrestle at WrestleMania? And if so, who’s he gonna wrestle? And if so, is he gonna win or lose? Come on. Stop. Kurt Angle, 2017 WWE Hall of Famer sounds good to me, and that’s what I wanna focus on.”

It’s been over a decade since we last saw Kurt Angle wrestle under the WWE banner, and the common belief is that he’ll be one of the annual surprise entrants in this year’s Royal Rumble match. So we could see him wrestle before he’s inducted this coming spring.
