Even though she hasn’t officially retired from mixed martial arts, it looks like Ronda Rousey’s days as an MMA fighter are over. The question now is, what will the ex-UFC women’s bantamweight champion do next? Some think she’ll become a full time actress, while others are expecting her to make the jump to WWE.
On Tuesday, Roman Reigns made the rounds at ESPN, and he was asked if he thinks Ronda Rousey could transition to WWE. Here’s what he said:
“I think so. I think she’s one of those athletes that just gets that attention and all eyes are on her. So I definitely think she has the background and she has the base to build on, so she’s got a great foundation – you can see it right there. She’s not shying away from the spotlight, so I think she’ll know what to do.”
There’s still a chance that Rousey will return to the UFC for one more fight, especially if they offer her the featherweight championship fight against Holly Holm, provided that Holm gets past Germaine de Randamie at UFC 208.
