Many fans expected something more from the main event of “Fastlane” last night. A lot of people are upset about Roman Reigns winning the match, but that’s a separate issue.
Most fans were expecting The Wyatts to interfere in the match and cost Brock Lesnar the win forcing a feud between Bray Wyatt and Lesnar for Wrestlemania. However, that angle didn’t happen. While it could still happen on tonight’s Raw, WWE appears to have other plans.
According to Wrestlezone.com, WWE is calling an audible as far as Lesnar vs. Wyatt is concerned. As of this writing, that feud has been cancelled, and WWE is now planning The Beast Incarnate to face Dean Ambrose at Wrestlemania in April.
This isn’t really surprising for us because the rumor mill picked this up a few weeks ago. Not to mention Ambrose has been on a great role as of late, and we were concerned about what he was going to be doing at Wrestlemania.
Ambrose vs. Lesnar is a really interesting feud, and it’s most likely going to feature some kind of stipulation that will keep Ambrose in the match. The only question now is what is WWE planning for Bray Wyatt?
While this match is going to solidify Ambrose as a top guy and give Lesnar another good feud for the grandest stage of them all, this situation does leave Wyatt hanging.
After losing last night to The Big Show, Kane, and Ryback, it’s going to be very interesting to see what WWE has planned for The Wyatt Family.
What do you want to see Bray Wyatt do at Wrestlemania?
