Last night at Wrestlemania 32, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal had a surprise winner that no one saw coming. Baron Corbin from NXT would become the third man in history to win the Battle Royal.

His main roster debut and surprising victory came only two days after a very solid match with Austin Aries at NXT Takeover: Dallas. Although it was a losing effort from Corbin, he came out looking very strong and now he looks even more so after last night.

The speculation began almost immediately after his win if this meant that he would be making a full transition to the main roster or if he would go back to NXT with some big bragging rights or both.

According to Wrestlezone.com, Baron Corbin is now officially a member of WWE’s main roster, and it seems like they’re going to be giving him a very good push to start off.

He’s improved dramatically over the last year because he’s learned and worked with several great talents in NXT, but in one night he already has two things that few NXT guys have: an immediate impact and a big Wrestlemania moment.

It’s going to be very interesting to see what WWE has planned for Baron Corbin because he was just hitting his stride in NXT, so it occurred to them that it would be a better idea for him to come up to the main roster rather than play around in the midcard on NXT.

How do you think Baron Corbin will do on the main roster?
