Somehow, TNA is still afloat and putting their brand out in the industry despite some issues such as a lack of money, distribution of the product and losing talent.
Recently, TNA President Dixie Carter did an interview with The Associated Press to discuss TNA’s move to POP TV, James Storm’s return to the company, and how WWE is attempting to sign their former talents like Storm, Samoa Joe or AJ Styles. You can read what
You can read what Carter had to say in the interview right here. Below are the highlights:
On WWE signing their former talent:
“We’ve always been criticized about taking WWE talent, and I think it’s pretty interesting how the roles have been reversed. Our competitors, our competition have been after our talent.”
On James Storm returning to TNA:
“A lot of times they come back. The grass isn’t always greener and what we have here is very special.”
Dixie actually has a good point there. TNA has often been criticized for using former WWE superstars, but that criticism has never befallen on WWE. If anything, the James Storm situation is a perfect example of how TNA and WWE differ when evaluating talent in this industry.
