Jay Lethal is one of the best wrestlers in the world. His 2015 in Ring of Honor has been phenomenal. Last April, he became the Ring of Honor Television Champion.

His run was so good as the champion that earlier this year, he had elevated the TV title to the point where he could claim he was the ROH World Champion. In June, Lethal became ROH’s Undisputed Champion by holding the ROH World Championship and the Television title.

Many people believe that Seth Rollins winning the United States Championship from John Cena at Summerslam this year was a commentary on the great work of Jay Lethal in Ring of Honor. Lethal held the ROH Television title for 567 days until he lost it to Roderick Strong last month.

The current ROH World Champion recently spoke with Nashvillescene.com to promote Ring of Honor events in Nashville. During the interview, Lethal was asked about the possibility of going to WWE in the future.

You can read the full interview right here. Below is what Lethal had to say about possibly wrestling in WWE:

Will Lethal Ever Work for WWE:

“I’m going to say that, for most professional wrestlers around my age and from my generation, the reason we got into wrestling was due to a love that was created in part by being fans of the WWE as kids.”

To say that I wouldn’t want to work there would be a misstatement, because it is the company that started my love for professional wrestling, so I do have to say that it would be cool to wrestle for the WWE. But on the other side of that token, I wouldn’t feel like, ‘Man, I really missed out on something big.’ “
