Roman Reigns didn’t appear on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw because he got necessary nose surgery for a pre-existing condition.

It was a great move for Triple H to beat down Reigns last week because it gave him a lot of heel heat, allowed Roman to get surgery, and gave him some time to heal up before the biggest show the year. However, there is some speculation about when he will return to TV.

According to Wrestlezone.com, it’s very likely that WWE could keep Roman Reigns off of Raw and Smackdown until Wrestlemania Roadblock or the post-show Raw.

The reason is because Reigns needs to heal his nose, he needs to continue to sell the beating from The Game, and the current mini feud between Dean Ambrose and Triple H is better left uninterrupted.

It’s most likely that Triple H will try to gain heel heat by trying to injure Ambrose before he faces Brock Lesnar and Reigns will come out to make the save and reignite the feud only a few short weeks before Wrestlemania.

WWE made a smart move by healing Reigns up before April and giving Ambrose the spotlight while he’s on a great run and that will help fill the time between Lesnar appearances.

But, WWE has upped the ante a lot for the Reigns vs. Triple H feud and when he returns, they need to keep that momentum going.
