As last night’s edition of Monday Night Raw was ending, it was obvious that the show was pressed for time, and they rushed through the segment between Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan just to squeeze in Cesaro vs. Rusev.
Both segments felt very rushed, and there are a lot of people this morning wondering why WWE decided to book Cesaro’s “Championship Opportunity” at the end of Monday Night Raw the way they did last night.
Regardless, Raw ended with Sheamus interfering to cost Cesaro the match and continue their feud. Meanwhile, Reigns vs. Rusev continues to build towards “Summerslam,” but what happened after Raw went off the air?
According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, the post-Raw match after the show went off the air was Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt, which is strange considering both men are with the SmackDown brand. However, it also gives the WWE Universe in attendance something extra to see and another reason to tune in the next night.
Orton vs. Wyatt is being rumored for after “Summerslam,” so last night’s match only adds to that speculation. It was said to be a good match that saw Orton get the win after reversing Wyatt’s Sister Abigail into an RKO.
