At Wrestlemania, The Undertaker defeated Shane McMahon in the Hell in a Cell match. It was a slow and brutal match that will be remembered for Shane McMahon’s death-defying leap of faith from the top of the cell.
History will remember that it was The Undertaker who won the match, and it was his career on the line. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that just because he won, his career will continue. In fact, he may be calling it a career anyway.
After Wrestlemania, it’s being said that The Deadman was telling some people backstage that he is done wrestling. Obviously, nothing is official yet, or you would have heard about it, but he has been removed from many WWE live events he was scheduled to be a part of during WWE’s tour of the United Kingdom.
According to Wrestlezone.com, Undertaker is only advertised for the April 19th WWE Smackdown taping, as well as a WWE live event in Newcastle on April 20th.
He has been removed from the April 21st, 22nd, and the 23rd shows that were scheduled to in Brussels, Paris, and Malaga. It’s not strange for Undertaker to be out for significant time during the year, but we’ll have to wait and see what’s next for The Deadman.
Do you think The Undertaker will be involved in Summerslam?
