John Cena Isn’t Expected Back Full-Time For a Few More Months

John Cena made a special return at Wrestlemania during the segment between The Rock and The Wyatt Family. He helped The People’s Champion survive the attack from the Wyatts.

However, it seems that Cena won’t be sticking around. His Wrestlemania appearance was just for the grandest stage of them, and he needs to heal some more before he can step into the ring for a full match.

The fifteen-time WWE World Champion recently claimed that his rehab has been going very well and that, “He should have been back to the ring two weeks ago.” 

However, he did not return during this week’s Raw, and that is because Cena is still not medically cleared according to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com.

Having said that, he’s obviously in great condition because it’s been three months and he was in good enough shape to do the angle at Wrestlemania, but working a full match is a different story.

The expectation is that John Cena will be back in June or July. He’ll definitely be a part of Summerslam in a few months. It’s going to be very interesting to see where Cena fits into the WWE picture by then.
