The Real Reason Why Stephanie McMahon Missed Monday Night Raw Revealed

Stephanie McMahon was absent from this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Shane McMahon played it off as a joke and that was essentially that for this week.

Shane missed a week of Raw a few weeks ago before “Money in the Bank”, so this is one of the advantages of having two McMahons in power right now, but Stephanie had a good reason for missing Raw this week.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, Stephanie was not able to make Raw because she was in Cannes, France for the Cannes Lions festival.

It’s okay if you don’t know what that is. In a nutshell, it’s an annual weekly event that involves a ton of different people from the creative communications, advertising and related fields.

It’s known as the largest of its kind for many creative markets. In fact tomorrow, John Cena will join Stephanie McMahon to talk about WWE “keeping audiences engaged for fifty years.”

Stephanie and Shane’s sibling rivalry is about to break up into an all-out war of Raw vs. SmackDown once the brand split occurs in July. There are a lot of angles to it, but it’s going to be very interesting to see how those two feud with one another over the foreseeable future.
