The Stone Cold Podcast is a really great program that has provided some keen insight into the minds of top WWE superstars and given pivotal personal information about them as well.
WWE has also done a good job promoting it and making it feel important. That began right off the bat with Stone Cold asking Vince McMahon some tough questions that led to some interesting developments on and off WWE programming.
As great as the podcast has been, it turns out it should be doing even better.
Recently, Stone Cold has admitted on the show during episodes with Vince Russo that he has held back out of respect for the superstars and for not trying to bury anyone.
Stone Cold said that following about his podcast episodes features on the WWE Network:
“A lot of the time, I hold back because I’m one of the boys and I’ve got to show up every damn month for a podcast. It’s not my goal to run anybody down [or] run anybody down that’s in control.
I love the [professional wrestling] business, but it is what it is. I have my opinion. Sometimes, believe me, I’m holding back when I’m talking about my opinions because I don’t want to shoot a hole in anybody.”
