There isn’t anything wrong with the Stardust character, but he hasn’t had much momentum in WWE since debuting in 2014. Ultimately, Cody Rhodes as a performer under many different gimmicks was a two-time Intercontinental Champion and a five-time WWE Tag Team Champion with four different opponents.

Honestly, why couldn’t Cody Rhodes do both? In his prime, Mick Foley was pulling off three different characters simultaneously. Rhodes having two different characters could make for an interesting dynamic with the WWE Universe.
The fans would have to ask if they’d be seeing Stardust or Cody on that particular night. That would give him a unique gimmick that no one else can do.
