However, there is a lot of pressure on tonight’s show to keep pace with the best episode of Monday Night Raw all year from last week’s show. WWE appears prepared though with many planned returns for tonight’s edition of Raw live from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
First and foremost, it’s been rumored that Seth Rollins is set to make his return to WWE tonight to present an award and give an update on his recovery. It could become a major moment in his inevitable face turn.
According to WrestlingEdge.com, Paul Heyman is confirmed to appear tonight on Monday Night Raw. This has only added to the speculation that Brock Lesnar will return to WWE television only a few days after returning to WWE at a live event. It’s well known that Lesnar is from Minneapolis, so Heyman’s appearance is a huge clue.
In addition to Heyman, Ric Flair and Santino Marella are both scheduled to make an appearance. Santino is most likely set to present the “LOL Moment of the Year” award, but Flair has been on WWE television far more consistently as a manager of Charlotte.
PWInsider.com is reporting that injured WWE superstars King Barrett and Stardust are also backstage in Minneapolis for tonight’s Raw. Finally, Nikki Bella sent out the following tweet about tonight’s Slammy Awards:
