Almost immediately after Shane McMahon returned to WWE many weeks ago, there were several rumors that came out of it, including WWE bringing back the brand extension after Wrestlemania 32.
Several are a lot of factors involved with that because the stipulation was put in place by Mr. McMahon on television that Shane would take over Monday Night Raw if he could defeat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania in the Hell in a Cell.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon claimed that they would quit WWE way before Shane would fire them, which has led to a lot of speculation that Shane will control Raw and Steph and The Game would run SmackDown. With both being on the USA Network, that’s not a bad thing.
According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, there is still the strong possibility of Shane McMahon winning at Wrestlemania and WWE bringing back the brand split after Wrestlemania.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the WWE marketing department recently produced new USA Network graphics for both RAW and SmackDown.
The RAW graphic features John Cena, Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt, Alberto Del Rio, Charlotte and Nikki Bella as the top stars. The SmackDown promo features Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, The New Day, Dolph Ziggler and Paige as the top stars.
On paper, that could just be good marketing of most of your superstars, but many are missing and WWE could still be figuring out how a brand extension would work with NXT and many other factors needing to be considered.
