At “Summerslam,” Brock Lesnar destroyed Randy Orton. Afterward, Shane McMahon came out to protect his talent and ended up taking an F-5 for his trouble.
It seemed like the point of that was to book Lesnar as an out of control killing machine, who would attack anyone. However, there may be something more to Lesnar’s attack on Shane to end “Summerslam.”
Earlier this month, there was a rumor that Lesnar would be challenging for the WWE Universal Championship at the “Royal Rumble.” Tha remains to be seen, but WWE may have other plans for Lesnar by January.
According to a rumor from CageSideSeats.com, WWE is actively trying to work on a feud between Brock Lesnar and Shane McMahon. The plan is to have a match between them by the “Royal Rumble.”
It’s possible we could see a match between them at “Survivor Series,” but the matchup offers some intriguing ideas for Shane as a character while he’s running SmackDown.
Obviously, there will be a lot of concern for Shane, but he is known as a fearless competitor. A match between them would be interesting to book, but it seems like WWE has options for Lesnar when he returns.
