Austin Aries is one of the most decorated and experienced wrestlers on the planet. He’s known as “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived” for a reason.

Of course, he’s had a ton of success in NXT over the past few months that he’s been wrestling there. What is especially interesting is apparently WWE has done a complete 180 when it came to his abilities.

According to a recent report from Wrestlinginc.com, WWE officials recently changed their minds on AJ Styles because he was originally signed to be a midcard, but he’s developed into one of their top stars.

Apparently, Austin Aries has done the same thing in NXT. The perspective of him was that he was a “great worker” who looked like a normal guy.

The work Aries has done is changed the minds of WWE officials who now look at him and similar guys like men and women that can be draws in WWE with the right booking.

On NXT programming, Austin Aries just turned heel and looks to be entering a feud with No Way Jose. The heel turn will be a good thing for him to show some more personality and make his in-ring work more meaningful.

Do you think Austin Aries will be a star on the main roster when given the chance?
