Rumor: Huge WWE Draft Rumor About Corey Graves Coming to SmackDown

As it turns out, Corey Graves may be headed to SmackDown after all. There have been some rumors over the past few months that WWE officials were considering bringing Graves to SmackDown to partner with Ranallo.

Rumors are funny things because it could be completely inaccurate, or they can be majorly foretelling. For example, the rumor mill picked up on Daniel Bryan being the new SmackDown GM. Why can’t this be true?

According to the latest rumor about Graves from DailyWrestlingNews.com, there are some rumblings about the announcers being part of the WWE Draft tonight on SmackDown.

Apparently, there are several people pushing within WWE for Corey Graves to be “promoted” for a main roster gig during the WWE Draft to be paired with Mauro Ranallo to call SmackDown.

The recent legal trouble of Jerry Lawler may have forced WWE to make those changes even though The King’s charges were dropped. It’s still a perception thing, and Graves is one of the best announcers in WWE.

As of this writing, it is still just a rumor. However, WWE claimed that six talents would be taken from NXT in the WWE Draft tonight. Could Graves be one of the NXT six?
