Why WWE Keeps Delaying Ember Moon’s Push on Raw

Since her main roster debut, Ember Moon hasn’t been featured in a prominent role or a real feud on Monday Night Raw. She has been a strong babyface considering her limited role on WWE programming. However, the WWE Universe is wondering why the powers that be are waiting for when it comes to pushing Ember Moon to the next level on Raw.

According to a recent report from PWInsider Elite, the reason why Moon remains in the midcard on Raw is that WWE officials don’t want her to get buried by Ronda Rousey. In 2018, Rousey ran roughshod over the Raw Women’s roster and the last thing the powers that be want to do is force her to job out to Rousey to make her look like everyone else.

WWE officials believe she’s better off building her name with the WWE Universe until the time is right for her push. With WrestleMania season approaching, it’s only going to be a few more months before the opportunity arises for Ember to climb the ladder. It’s likely that another WWE Draft is around the corner and more roster moves are coming.

For instance, it seems obvious that Becky Lynch will move to Raw early next year. After the grandest stage of them all, Moon could find more success on SmackDown Live. The possibility of Ronda Rousey moving to the blue brand is likely before it moves to FOX in late 2019 so Ember Moon could also find more success on Raw if Ronda makes a move.

More than anything else, Moon needs feuds to build momentum. In NXT, her stock was only built on feuds against Asuka and Shayna Baszler. There are some heels on Raw for her to feud with heading into WrestleMania 35 and it seems to be only a matter of time before Ember Moon receives the push that much of the WWE Universe wants to see.
