Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. There might not be a more polarizing wrestler in the world right now than Brock Lesnar. While he is incredibly dominant and physically impressive when he’s around, those appearances are becoming fewer and further between. Lesnar is the reigning Universal Champion but hasn’t defended the title since winning it in early November nearly two months ago. Now though, there is a chance that he could be missing a very big show.

According to Mike Johnson on PWInsider Elite Audio, there is a chance that Lesnar might not be working at WrestleMania 35 in any way. At the moment, with just over three months before the show, there has been no mention of Lesnar being involved with the show nor any advertisement including him leading into the show. Of course there is the chance that Lesnar could currently not be signed with the company and re-sign to appear at WrestleMania 35 anyway.

And who could use this at WrestleMania? Check out one of Lesnar’s always impressive displays of strength:

Opinion: At the moment, I’m rather hoping that Lesnar is gone, or at least not the Universal Champion anymore. We’re almost coming up on two years without an active Universal Champion (save for Roman Reigns’ two months as champion) because Lesnar is never around outside of the big shows. It’s long since been time to do something else with the title, but WWE doesn’t seem to agree.
