The beating Randy Orton took at the hands of Brock Lesnar at “Summerslam,” was heinous. Many within the WWE Universe have questioned the booking and Lesnar’s safety in the ring since the event.
Their argument only gained more credibility when it was revealed that Randy Orton wasn’t medically cleared to compete at “Backlash” and his match with Bray Wyatt was postponed to a later date.
There was some speculation about Orton’s concussion and the potential for him to be out much longer than most people expected seemed to be coming true.
However, it is being reported by RingSideNews.com that Randy Orton has officially been medically cleared to return to action. The belief is The Viper was cleared by WWE doctors only a few days after “Backlash.”
Orton took a few bumps and had performed a little bit over the past week. He worked with Wyatt during a WWE live event, and we can expect their feud to continue on SmackDown tonight.
Orton vs. Wyatt has been derailed more than once, so their feud has had some bad luck in the past, but now that Randy is healthy, we’re most likely going to get their match at “No Mercy” in October.
What do you think about the feud between Orton and Wyatt so far?
