There is one spot left in the “Money in the Bank” Ladder match during next month’s PPV. The popular choices are going to be Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens or Cesaro, but I think that final spot and eventual winner should be The Eater of Worlds.
Yes, he’s been absent. However, all the rumors have him coming back well before “Money in the Bank” on the 19th of June, so he’s going to be available.
Back in the day, the current Intercontinental Champion was the guy you had your eye on as the next WWE Champion. In the present day, that’s the Money in the Bank contract.
Is Bray Wyatt ready to be the WWE Champion? Well, he’s got the mic skills, the in-ring ability, but he just needs the momentum. The MITB briefcase is about picking your moment and being a master of a sneak attack.
That’s exactly what the character does better than anyone without a contract guaranteeing him a World title match whenever his mind chooses to cash in on it.
Frankly, a lot of people think Wyatt has been misused. Having the power to take the WWE Championship in the palm of your hands and having three giants to help you take it would make him the most dangerous man on the roster by far.
Not to mention that he’s a good wrestler who spent the majority of last year working with Roman Reigns and chasing him around. “Anyone but you” is something the current WWE audience would get behind if WWE wanted to make him a face.
Sure, he’d be the heel officially, but unofficially a big moment and a big win is the only thing that separated him from becoming a top guy in WWE.
I want you to actually think about that for a minute. He’s gone one on one with The Undertaker, John Cena, and the current WWE Champion. Where would his momentum be if he had won any of those matches?
Money in the Bank is meant to be a career maker. It did it for Edge, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins last year. This year, Bray Wyatt could take a huge step to become a WWE Champion or enter the conversation at the very least.
Do you think Bray Wyatt should win Money in the Bank this year?
