Emma is one of the most underutilized talents in WWE. Not in the Women’s Division, but in all of WWE. Her experience and in-ring skills make her a potential Women’s Champion on Raw or SmackDown.
Unfortunately, she’s been dealing with a serious back injury for the majority of 2016. There was a recent report that revealed she’d be returning to WWE soon, but she’s returned sooner than most expected.
According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Emma returned during last night’s WWE live event in Louisville, Kentucky. It was her first appearance for WWE since May.
She was the special guest referee for a six man tag team match between, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Alicia Fox against the WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte, Dana Brooke, and Nia Jax.
The following photo was taken by a fan in attendance showing Emma in her referee uniform and shades for the event:

Emma is actually scheduled to return to the road for Raw and all the brand’s live events. On paper, you’d expect SmackDown to get Emma’s services since the Women’s Division could use her depth, plus her boyfriend, Zack Ryder is drafted to SmackDown. It’ll be interesting to see where Emma lands in WWE.
Do you think Emma should go to Raw or SmackDown?
