Last night at NXT Takeover: The End, The Revival regained the NXT Tag Team Championship from American Alpha in a great match.
NXT’s tag team division has been one of the most competitive division’s in WWE over the last six months and last night’s match was a perfect example of that.
However, there is some concern about The Revival’s second run with the tag team titles. They’re the first in the brand’s history to do so, and that should be an accomplishment.
The concern some people have is that becoming a two-time champion in NXT is kind of a kiss of death because you’ve already accomplished the goal, and the main roster is always there.
Someone like WWE Hall of Famer Edge sees it as the former. After Takeover last night, he posted the following on Twitter praising Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson:

There has been some talk of American Alpha being brought up to the main roster, which could be a factor in the title change last night.
The Revival have had a very good run, and they’re more than capable of putting over the next era of tag teams in NXT if Chad Gable and Jason Jordan move on to the main roster.
Do you think The Revival regaining the NXT Tag Team titles was a good thing?
