Last night on SmackDown, AJ Styles had a message for John Cena. He delivered it with passion, but it was a little disorganized. The gist was that he’s always been better than Cena, and he’s a huge phony.
John Cena rebuffed his “message” and went into a typical John Cena promo about his loyalty and passion for WWE, but it has struck a cord with a lot of people, including SmackDown’s General Manager Daniel Bryan.
After SmackDown, Daniel Bryan appeared on the first edition of “Talking Smack” to discuss the show, and he offered a unique perspective when he discussed Cena’s promo.
What Bryan took issue with is John Cena looking down on AJ Styles because he would happily go wrestle in another promotion, but Cena couldn’t imagine wrestling anywhere else in the industry.

If you get down to the essence of what John Cena was saying, it was that he’d only play football in the NFL, but Bryan and Styles’ love of the “sport” is greater than the loyalty to WWE, so they’d play football anywhere.
Do you think John Cena is wrong to look down on wrestling outside of WWE?
