Cody Rhodes Goes to Hospital After Raw

Last night on Monday Night Raw from Charleston, Stardust was involved in a match with Jack Swagger. The match started during a commercial break, but the two men fought until Alberto Del Rio arrived with Zeb Colter to taunt the challenge for the United States Championship.

The match continued for a short time before Swagger locked in the Patriot Lock on Stardust for the submission victory. Before Swagger could even let go of the hold, Del Rio attacked both him and Stardust with a chair.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Rhodes was examined for fractures at Roper Hospital in Charleston immediately following Raw. Cody tweeted the following from his personal Twitter account”:

“Thanks to all the folks at Roper Hospital for being so accommodating and efficient,” he wrote. “No fractures.”

Stardust is an interesting character. Within the context of the character on WWE television, Cody Rhodes transformed into Stardust in order to be an appropriate partner for his brother, Goldust. Together, the Rhodes Brothers were able to win a Tag Team Championship until Stardust went off the rails.

Ever since then, Stardust has been a floating around the WWE without gaining much momentum. He’s currently in a strange feud with Titus O’Neil, and it’s confusing to figure out where it’s going, or it’s purpose.

There have been rumors of the Cody Rhodes character returning to WWE.
