During last night’s go-home show of Thursday Night SmackDown, Chris Jericho officially accepted AJ Styles’ challenge to have a third and final match in their feud for “Fastlane” this Sunday.
It took some convincing, but now we finally get to find out who the better man is between Y2J and The Phenomenal One. Most are expecting Styles to win and for Jericho to put him over, but that leaves the question as to what both men will be doing at Wrestlemania.
It’s very likely that we could see Styles vs. Kevin Owens for the IC Championship, but the rumors were originally claiming that we’d be seeing Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho for the same title.
The other question is how much longer Chris Jericho will be around after Wrestlemania? If he is done soon after Wrestlemania, that is going to affect the feud he has at the event.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, Jericho is still being advertised to wrestle during the April 12th SmackDown tapings in San Diego.
The card is always subject to change, but it looks like he will be working WWE live events after Wrestlemania 32. Whatever WWE has planned for Y2J, it seems like it is going to last beyond Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas.
