Cesaro has been out of action since November with a torn rotator cuff in his shoulder. The expectation was that his recovery would take between six to nine months.

Unfortunately, The Swiss Superman will be missing Wrestlemania 32 due to that injury, but WWE is reportedly planning for him to have a feud with AJ Styles once he returns to action.

Recently, Cesaro has been doing rehab back at the WWE Performance Center and made his return to WWE during a recent tour of Germany.

Even more recently, he did an interview with the sports section of The National and discussed WWE coming to Dubai, dream opponents, and a realistic timetable for his return to the ring.

You can watch the full interview right here. Below is what Cesaro had to say about his WWE return:

“Two to three months would be a good target [for my return], hopefully sooner, but like I said, it is a case of how quickly I heal. I am trying to stay positive and get through rehab and coming here to the UAE and seeing how enthusiastic the fans are has helped. I was also in Germany recently and seeing how supportive they were really helps keep a positive mindset.”
