Apollo Crews is doing pretty well on the main roster so far. The consensus is he could have used some more time in NXT, but we’re here now, and WWE feels confident in Crews’ abilities.

He’s a perfect example of a superstar that will get many more opportunities after the brand split next month. On Sunday night, he’s got a match with Sheamus at “Money in the Bank” that will be very good for him win or lose.

After Monday Night Raw earlier this week, Apollo Crews commented on his rivalry with Sheamus and made his intentions crystal clear about what he wants to accomplish in WWE.

You can watch the full interview right here. Below is what Crews had to say going into “Money in the Bank”:

Can you explain why the rivalry with Sheamus has accelerated so quickly?

“I’ve talked so much about opportunity in the past. All of these opportunities have been handed my way from Brooklyn to England, or wherever it is. But I’ve said it many times before, this is the biggest opportunity of my life. My first PPV. “Money in the Bank” this Sunday against a former world champion; someone like Sheamus!

“Yeah, I’m part of this “New Era.” They call me the new guy, but I don’t care if I’ve been here one week, one day, one month. It doesn’t matter. I’m not backing down from Sheamus. He likes to bully people. Sheamus likes to bully people? Well this Sunday, he has a whole ‘nother thing coming to him. I’m bringing my A-game at “Money in the Bank.” I’m here to show that I’m not an overnight thing. I’m not going to be here today and gone tomorrow. I’m here to stay. I’m here to win championships. It starts this Sunday with Sheamus.”

Do you think Apollo Crews will be a midcard champion over the summer?
