AJ Styles has been awesome for WWE since his debut at the “Royal Rumble”. The feud with Chris Jericho was fantastic for three matches and now, the partnership between them to form “Y2AJ” has added a lot to the WWE Tag Team division.
Tomorrow night, Jericho and Styles will be taking on The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championship. It’s very unlikely that “Y2AJ” will be leaving Monday Night Raw with those titles, but that may set them up another match for Wrestlemania in a few weeks.
If those plans become a reality, and the team of Jericho and Styles are involved in the WWE Tag Team Championship match in some way, there is a rumor going around that it could lead to an unexpected swerve from WWE’s creative team.
According to Sportskeeda.com, the idea is being thrown around about AJ Styles potentially turning on Y2J and turning heel at Wrestlemania 32.
A great deal of the reasoning behind that speculation is the upcoming debut of Karl Anderson and Doc Gallow onto the main roster.
Since both men are coming to the main roster and their very recent history with AJ is very well known, it’s not that insane to believe that WWE is thinking about bringing a new stable to the WWE. The rumored name of such a group would be “Bulletproof.”
