Stone Cold Steve Austin has been quite vocal recently about the way he views WWE’s current booking of some superstars.
Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer has been defending Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family. He feels that WWE has mishandled the booking of the faction, and it’s leader while calling it a “travesty”.
That argument has been a common one ever since Bray Wyatt suffered his first loss to John Cena at Wrestlemania 30. When the topic came up with Austin during the latest edition of “The Stone Cold podcast”, he had the following to say about Wyatt’s booking:
“Here we are now and I mean just quite frankly, it is what it is. [The Wyatt Family] don’t mean what they should to [WWE]. And Bray Wyatt, being the leader of this faction, is taking a huge hit. And that’s a travesty of booking right there because, again, these are some very talented guys within The Wyatt Family structure.”
The argument that Stone Cold is making is not an unpopular one, but it’s a misunderstood one to make. In many big match situations, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose. What’s important and what people remember is that you were there.
Bray Wyatt gave a cryptic promo last night on Raw, so it’s still unclear what the faction will be doing at Wrestlemania 32 in a few weeks.
