Shane McMahon’s return to WWE creates the potential for a lot of new, fresh, and exciting possibilities when it comes to the WWE product.

Not only are we getting Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania in one of the most interesting matches in recent memory but the backstage workings within WWE create a lot of potential changes with Shane O’ Mac back in business with the company.

Recently, there have been some rumors about Shane McMahon taking over the authority role on WWE television and that causing a potential brand spilt for WWE programming again.

The WWE Universe has been discussing the possibility ever since Shane McMahon returned to the company last week, but WWE officials have been talking about another brand split for several weeks now, according to DailyWrestlingNews.com.

There is no confirmation guaranteeing the split will happen, but the idea has definitely been tossed around and is being discussed.

NXT is said not to be involved in the “brand split”, but what’s interesting about that is how WWE handles talents from NXT getting brought to the main roster because they would have to put them on only one show.

There are a lot of what if questions that would go with a brand split in 2016. WWE and the business are so different now than it was over a decade ago when the first brand split came to be. It’ll be extremely interesting to see how this story develops.

Do you want there to be a brand split in WWE again?
