The Rock’s Wrestlemania involvement has been confirmed. There have been a lot of rumors about what The People’s Champion will be doing on the grandest stage of them all this year.

Earlier today, The Rock posted the following on his Instagram explaining his filming schedule for the year:

It’s a little long, but the basics are that The Rock is going to be a very busy man, especially during Wrestlemania season since he’ll be shooting Baywatch.

There have been reports in the past that Rock will be forbidden from wrestling at Mania because of insurance issues from film studios.

That makes sense because the rumor that makes the most sense is about The Rock being in Roman Reigns corner during his main event match against Triple H with Vince McMahon in his corner. That’s a strong dynamic that will get The Rock involved in the main event.

The problem with anything The Rock does at Wrestlemania isn’t just about showing up in Dallas this April and putting on a show. Now, it’s being said by a few sources that Rock will not be available for many appearances on Raw or Smackdown to hype Wrestlemania.

It’s going to be very interesting how WWE decides to book the appearances they do have with The People’s Champion and how big his presence will be on the Road to Wrestlemania.
