“I do have an opponent in mind. I’m hopefully going to sit down with Vince [McMahon] in the next week or two, before the Royal Rumble, to discuss that with him because I have a very cool, innovative idea that I feel like the WWE Universe would be very receptive to from a storyline standpoint moving into WrestleMania.”
Over the weekend, Ryback did an interview with “Title Match Wrestling” and he spoke about The Bullet Club, the “Royal Rumble” and Wrestlemania 32. Ryback had the following to say during the interview about his match status for Wrestlemania this year:
Where does Ryback belong on the Wrestlemania card this year?
Where Ryback belongs is at the top of the Wrestlemania card. That’s firmly how I feel about that, but that’s another topic of conversation for another day. Hopefully going into this thing, my goal is to play a very big part of it and to have a major matchup.
Going into Wrestlemania my first year in the WWE, I had a big matchup with Mark Henry. The following two years, doing the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the year before that, being a part of a tag team match on the preshow both years.
I deserve a lot better than that and I will get a lot better than that this year. I will be on the card.
