7. Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens
Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens is a match many fans anticipate in the future because of the potential for two juggernauts to clash in the ring in an epic physical battle. Unlike The Undertaker, Kevin Owens has shocking agility for a man his size. Owens is also an excellent storyteller in the ring. All Owens would need is a reason to attack Lesnar, and the feud would be a go.
Owens is a notoriously sensitive character. What if at “Hell in a Cell” Paul Heyman comes across him in the locker room and puts him down as a second rate Intercontinental Champion. An interference from Owens at “Hell in a Cell” most likely wouldn’t occur during the match, but afterward is a possibility.
If Lesnar wins and then is laid out by Kevin Owens as the PPV ends would be quite the momentum boost for Owens. Not only would Owens look much more dominate, but the Intercontinental Championship would get the biggest boost of legitimacy. If Lesnar is fighting for the IC title immediately makes it dramatically more significant, especially if John Cena doesn’t lose the US title at the event and leaves with it for two months.
Lesnar vs. Owens could be an unbelievable match to build for Survivor Series and give WWE time to figure out Lesnar’s Wrestlemania opponent.
