So, what got the social media world talking? Well, just ask Former WWE women’s champ, Melina. The social sister posted the following tweets after Fox’s pinning moment:
People need2 have a broader viewpoint. There's a story being told here & THAT'S what is drawing me in. What if this was why Sasha lost…1/3

… This wasn't mind games, it was mocking. It's underestimating ur opponent & fueling her determination to win. 2/3 https://t.co/PcmrRvrBpG

Thats just one of many possibilities of what could have happened. But it's got people reacting and talking. That's great booking to me. 3/3

Lana’s first mistake to making the masses mad was liking the tweets. Once the ravishing Russian hit the like button it was all down hill from there. Fans thought the entire exchange was a dig towards the “Legit Boss” and let her have it. Lana tried to take the high road, putting everyone on blast saying she’d “block” the haters:
Also I will block the hate. I've said this many times before. I put my hater blockers on. I'll block people that tweet lies or mean remarks

This is where the story gets good. All of sudden the likes of Summer Rae and Sasha Banks started using the hashtag #BL2017, which many took to mean Block Lana referencing her own tweet that she would block the “haters.” Check out the video of Fox out-foxing The Boss:
Writer’s Note:I am an advocate, no not for Brock Lesnar, but for strong women who show they’re more than drama and bodies in professional wrestling, but this had me laughing. It was clear the original Twitter post from Melina was not meant in malice. It’s hysterical to see how social media can distort a thought. Yet again, I work in a business that thrives on a good tweet and post, so keep ’em coming, ladies!
What did you guys think of the Twitter feud? Is this just silly drama or was there something to Melina and Lana’s tweets? Sound off below!
