This is more up, up, up, up. Over the last year, New Day has risen to the top of the WWE with very few acts being able to hang with them in any capacity. While Kofi Kingston and Big E. are the regular in-ring performers, Xavier Woods has made his own mark in other areas, including the online gaming industry. Based on the success of his UpUpDownDown YouTube channel, Woods has been named to a special honor.

According to WWE.com, Woods will be co-hosting the SXSW Gaming Awards in Austin, Texas on March 18. Woods will be co-hosting with Sonja Reed, another YouTube gaming personality. The announcement was made earlier today and Woods has already posted a video talking about it.

These things are always cool. Woods comes off like someone who is both very smart and very entertaining behind the scenes and it’s nice to see him getting rewarded for the success and worth he’s put into his gaming channel. Something like this doesn’t happen every day and it should be entertaining to see Woods on a platform like this.
