I’d call that an excused absence. There are a lot of reasons for a wrestler to not appear on a wrestling show and some of them are more frustrating than others. While there might be something as simple as the company not having anything for them, sometimes the reason is something a bit more serious. That is the case this week, but thankfully it seems that it could be worse.
Monday Night Raw star Dana Brooke sent out a tweet revealing that she missed this week’s show due to being involved in a recent car accident. Brooke said that she is doing good and will be back in no time without going into the specifics of what happened or any injuries she may have suffered. Brooke’s most recent match took place last week on Main Event when she lost the 24/7 Title to Doudrop, only to win it back by the end of the show.
Much ?? to the #wweuniverse for the support & love, standing up for me! The reason why I was not on RAW last night was bc I got into a bad car accident the past week, I am doing good & will be back in no time! I really appreciate the love & couldn’t ask for better Fan support ??

Opinion: That’s never good to hear and hopefully Brooke is back in the ring sooner than later. Brooke might not be the biggest star in the division but I can always appreciate someone who is willing to work hard and see what she can do out there. That is the case with Brooke, who has come a long way during her time in WWE. Being 24/7 Champion might not mean much, but it is better than nothing as a way to keep her on television.
What do you think of Brooke? Will she ever be Women’s Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
