To the other side. There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that the company has divided them into a variety of roster. Some of those wrestlers perform exclusively, or close to it at least, on one brand or the other. You do not see many people move from one show to the other but now WWE has moved a living legend to the other main roster in order to keep him around.
This week on SmackDown, Rey Mysterio made a surprise appearance, informing Triple H that he was going to be quitting the promotion due to his issues with his son Dominik. Triple H asked him to talk about it and officially moved Mysterio to the SmackDown roster. Mysterio was put into a fatal four way to crown a new #1 contender to the Intercontinental Title, which Mysterio went on to win.
Opinion: This is a way to go and while it very well may be switched back later on, moving Mysterio to a new location is going to open some doors for him. I’m curious to see where the story goes and it does at least give them a logical way out of the situation. Keep doing things like that and see what kind of story you can find, as Mysterio is always going to be worth a look somewhere.
