It’s not exactly the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Last night the New England Patriots completed one of the greatest comebacks in North American sports history as they scored twenty five unanswered points to defeat the Atlanta Falcons to win Super Bowl LI.
In addition to all of their accolades, they’ll be receiving another special gift.
According to Triple H’s Twitter, WWE is sending the New England Patriots a customized WWE Championship with special side plates.
This has become a common trend for WWE as they have sent title belts to the 2015 Kansas City Royals and the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers.
Here’s the customized belt:
A never-say-quit team, a football dynasty, and an amazing #SB51.

As unwelcome as this title might be for some members of the New England Patriots, it’s cool to see something like this. I’m sure a few players on the team are WWE fans and it’s a good thing for WWE to be associated with something like this. Even if it’s something like the Undertaker appearing at a Cleveland Cavaliers game, it’s still a cool deal.
