Add it to the card. We are less than six days away from Fastlane, though I’m not sure how much you would know that from watching WWE TV. The company has gone all out in building towards WrestleMania and seems to have completely forgotten that Fastlane is happening as well. They have to build something though and they worked on that during this week’s show.
There are a lot of different ways to set up a feud in wrestling. Some of these are a bit more personal than others though and that opens up a series of doors of its own. With so many options available, it can be difficult to find the one that works best. Some of them are only going to leave some people scratching their heads though, and that might be the case with a new Fastlane match.
This week on Monday Night Raw, a match between Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon was announced for Fastlane. The match was scheduled to take place during this week’s Monday Night Raw but a brawl took place before the match could start. McMahon has spent the last two weeks calling Strowman stupid and this week, he hit Strowman in the face with a camera and covered him with green slime.
This has been a different feud. Check out how we got here:
Opinion: This is one of those feuds that was not exactly thrilling on paper and then it has gotten even worse as things have gone forward. So far, Strowman has been called stupid and has been outsmarted at every turn. I’m not sure why why I would want to either see the match or cheer for Strowman but that seems to be the direction they are headed in for WrestleMania.
