WRESTLING RUMORS: Update On Kevin Owens' Future With WWE

Stick around. One of the biggest stories in WWE this year has been the amount of wrestlers making their decisions on whether or not to stay with the company. There have been several names who have either signed new deals or walked away, though there are still some who have to make up their minds. Now one of the bigger names in WWE today seems to have made his decision.

According to WrestleVotes Radio by way of Wrestlingnews.co, Kevin Owens is close to signing a new deal with WWE, though it could not be confirmed if the deal had been officially signed or not. The deal is said to be “very close if not completed with a handshake”. This comes as Owens’ current deal was set to expire at some point in the coming months. Owens recently turned heel by attacking Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood.

Opinion: This wouldn’t surprise me as Owens has been around WWE for a very long time now and is still be treated as a big deal. While there would be a reason to move over to AEW, there is certainly something to sticking with WWE, which at least for now, is what Owens is appearing to do. If nothing else, this opens up Owens for some more spots in WE going forward, which must help the company quite a bit.
