Not so long? WWE has been shaking up its television every chance they can as of late with a variety of moves taking place. This includes the shows airing on different networks, with one of the shows already moving. That does not mean that all of the changes have taken place though, and we now have an idea of just how long another major change could be lasting.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One Of Them: Update On Wardlow’s AEW Status, Why He Has Been Missing

Earlier this week, a rumor began to circulate that SmackDown will be expanding to three hours starting in January. However, according to WrestleVotes Radio by way of Wrestlingnews.co, the move will only be temporary, with SmackDown moving back to two hours after six months, or in the second half of the year. WWE has yet to announce any changes to SmackDown’s current two hour format.

The show is still good at two hours. Check out what has been happening:

Opinion: This is one of those things that would be strange to see, as WWE does not have a tendency to downsize its shows. It could make for an interesting situation but I would need to see it happen to believe it. SmackDown expanding to three hours makes sense, but only doing it for six months does not make a ton of sense. Maybe that is what winds up happening, though it would be rather odd to see.
